These animated gifs once featured in the
pages and links of Mundoblaineo and now play out their destinies here. I
designed most of these myself, or cobbled them together from images I
downloaded, mostly with a dialup connection. I have said before that our
notions of identity in this illusory world may be likened to the career of
an animated gif, bouncing about forever in its frame, unaware not only of
the page of html which encodes it, but also of the larger web beyond and the
universe beyond that.
